Faith

Faith is the greatest power there is, the greatest power you could wish for:

• Faith is something you actually feel inside.
• Faith moves you to action.
• Faith gives you strength and firmness.
• Faith gives you great confidence.
• Faith changes things and makes your prayers come true.
• Faith gives you hope.

Faith is a lot more than just believing firmly in God. It's a gift from God to everyone who

• Repents and keeps His commandments
• Is humble
• Prays regularly and sincerely

Give it a shot. Make sure you're living your life right, pray and ask for it, and then watch how you feel over the coming days or weeks. For an extra boost, try

• Sacrifice. When you strech to do good, He blesses you even more.
• Read the scriptures more. Really think about them. Apply them to your life.
• Pray longer. Go somewhere you can think and pray. Have you ever tried to pray for five or ten minutes? It makes a huge difference. If you think you'll run out of things to pray for, pray for other people--they need it! And will appreciate it.

When you've got it, you stand up a little straighter, you feel a greater desire to keep the commandments, especially the most internal ones: to love God and yourself and others. With faith, you can accomplish everything you really need to, and everything God needs you to, in this life.

Make sure your faith is faith in God. Faith in yourself is great, but doesn't have the same power as faith in God. That means you trust that what He tells you to do will lead you to the greatest good in every instance, that He loves you and will never let you down when you obey (although He may try your patience and faith sometimes).
